Cline Homes was formed in Charleston South Carolina in 2005. Backed by the experienced and distinguished career of Stu Cline, Scott and Jeff Cline sought to leverage the efficiencies and systematic approaches learned from their careers in the production new home industry, and merge that with the flexibility and personal touch of a locally owned and operated custom homebuilding experience.
To deliver on their mission, Cline Homes has capitalized on utilizing a small team of highly talented and skilled professionals, all with a passion for building and personalizing new homes, to manage its customer’s experience through the process of creating their custom home. Their team members are dedicated to each project, ensuring that their customers’ wants and needs are met and their vision is realized.
Since 2005, Cline Homes has built over 200 custom homes in the Charleston area, including homes in Mt Pleasant, Daniel Island, Summerville, and James Island. The Cline Team is committed to continuing to provide their custom value proposition to future Cline homeowners.

Since 1959, the Charleston Home Builders Association (CHBA) has served as the leading non-profit organization dedicated to the future of the Lowcountry, encouraging growth and development within four counties – Charleston, Dorchester, Berkeley and Colleton. The CHBA works with organizations, including government, to promote and protect homeownership. The association continues to provide members with the ability to ethically and efficiently provide local communities with safe, quality and affordable housing. CHBA members consist of residential contractors, remodelers and developers, in addition to members representing all professions that support the homebuilding industry – all of whom abide by a strict code of ethics. The CHBA is affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and the Home Builders Association of South Carolina.

All Cline Homes are delivered with the peace of mind that our 3rd party structural warranty provides. Home warranties are issued by Residential Warranty Company, LLC and insured by Western Pacific Mutual Insurance Company, A Risk Retention Group (WPMIC), a company that is rated “A- (Excellent)” by A.M. Best continuously since 2001 and has over $100 million in surplus equity. As an RWC member, we agree to comply with specific construction standards in order to have our homes warranted by them. This is our assurance to you that Cline Homes is committed to standing behind our homes and providing you with peace of mind long after construction is complete. Furthermore, the warranty is transferable, so should you sell your home during the term, the balance of the warranty transfers automatically to the next buyer.
